For years I was running projects at work using systems and processes that kept everything on track. Then I’d come home to complete chaos. Lost permission slips. Dinner panic at 5pm. A to-do list that never got shorter.
One day it hit me: why wasn’t I running my home the same way I ran my projects?

I have an MBA and a PMP — a Project Management Professional certification — and have spent my professional career managing complex projects with tight deadlines, countless moving parts, and the chaos of depending on perfectly imperfect human beings to cooperate. Sounds a lot like being a parent and running a household, right? After a few years of chaos at home, I knew something had to change. When I applied my work skills and experience at home, everything changed. Not overnight. Not perfectly. But genuinely, and profoundly better.
I’m not someone who has it all together. I’m someone who built and applied systems for my home life because I had to. I’m not here to make you feel behind — I’m here to share with the thousands of other underpaid and overworked Household CEO’s what systems have enabled our home to be less stressful and more enjoyable.
